Is 2 fundamentally different than Pro? In other words, is it a different program with all new bones? Or is it just cosmetically different. I'm more interested in ease and stability and speed.

My solution, and I've pondered this one in the past, is to create a 5-minute silent track and insert it between all your tracks. That way you would simply advance to your next song. If you plan on waffling for more than 5 minutes at a clip... perhaps auto-pausing isn't your biggest concern at the mo'.

I have made several instrumental/karaoke songs, and to my ear they sound just as good as anything made by Sound Choice or Sunfly or PHM. If someone really really really really wants a particular song that just is not made by anyone, perhaps I could be persuaded to fire up Logic and give it a go.
