It is solved. It must have been a name issue. Still not sure what fixed it, but it is now working as expected.

Copying a song from desktop to laptop

I have a problem with one CDG track. I got it from the internet several years ago. It plays fine on the desktop. But the music only starts well past the beginning of the song on the laptop. I have tried deleting it and trashing original files on the machbook pro and copying it back to the laptop fro...

Re: KJAMS says I may need Perian Plugin.

I found the original zip files those songs cane from and re imported them and they worked. I had an old G5 which died and I had to rebuild my KJams on my new Mac Pro and for some reason about 30 gospel songs wouldn't play. Luckily I fond the Zip Archive they came from and added them to kjams and the...

KJAMS says I may need Perian Plugin.

I have quicktime 10 mac os 10.6.8. I have some supposedly CDG/mp3 Karaoke files that don't play. I don't know where I got them. KJAMS says Warning, in order to play the song "Amazing Grace" you need to download and install the Perian plugin. There web site says that there plugin doesn't work with qu...

Re: Key

OK. I musta missed that somehow. But thanks for cluing me in. That is good enough. Me and Gibson can figure out the keys and put them in. It'll take a while for 500+ tunes, but it is doable. Thank you!

Key

I would like for KJAMS to tell me what Key the mp3 is in. Not sure if this is technically possible. But it is something some Karaoke singers need to know, especially if they want to strum along withe the tune, which I do sometimes.

Re: I Love KJAMS! Dave is the best. I have this problem.

I deleted it and re-downloaded it from the web site again. It ran this time. Then it auto updated. Then I downloaded and installed the producer plug. It crashed the first time I ran it. Then I dropped a file made with ikaraoke Tuneprompter and it opened it and played it fine. But complained about a ...
